Tipey Story: Jordan

imgresThis story comes from Jordan, a Tipey user from Killeen, TX. Jordan has asked us to share this story, due to the fact it shows Tipey’s usefulness past just Tips. The names have been changed for legal purposes.

“Wow. So, this is a crazy one. So my buddy Steven went to Wisconsin with his wife on a business trip. Well, background about Steven, he’s an idiot. He’s done a lot of stupid things. This one however is THE story that has set a new record. He tells his wife in Wisconsin (he’s from Texas) that he wants a divorce. So what does she do? They get into an argument, cops are called, she bites him, they arrest him, she locks his phone, and locks his bank account while he’s in jail. He gets out, no charges because he didn’t touch her, but he has no money. So naturally I go ahead and hook him up with a bus ticket scheduled 4 days later. He has to walk to the station, which is a pretty good distance. I’m trying to figure out how I can send him some money. I’m thinking paypal, moneygram, western union, anything! He doesn’t have a Paypal, and moneygram is pretty expensive. Then, I remember we both downloaded Tipey! I went ahead and sent him $200 at no cost through the app. He’s back in Texas safe and sound now. But, that was just something I felt would be cool to share. Thanks guys!”

Wow. Didn’t really expect Tipey to be used for that, but hey that’s what it is designed for. Quick, easy, and cost effective. A tool for any user in most situations. Thank you Jordan for the story!

Customer Story: Tipey

Screen Shot 2016-04-18 at 3.44.19 PMThis story comes from Allen Parr from Lancaster, TX. Allen is a night employee near Waxahachie, TX. Allen is a Tipey user, and has just learned why it was great to have it on his phone.

“I was driving down highway 342 the other night. It was probably about 2, maybe 3 in the morning. I was driving back up because I was sick, and needed to go home. About halfway there I get a flat tire. Now, that’s no big deal usually. I’ve got a spare in the back of my truck, a jack, and a tire iron. The issue was I felt like I had the flu, and it’s raining outside. Well so I call my wife and tell her I gotta wait for this rain to die down. Turned on my flashers, and sat back listening to some music. A car pulls up behind me about 10 minutes later, and the driver comes out wearing a pancho. He says, “Hey there my name’s Braden Lejune. You alright? Need some help?” So, I tell him the problem. This young man gets my tools, gets my spare, and changes my tire for me in the rain. When he’s done I tell him I don’t have any cash. He says that’s not a problem, and starts to walk away. Then, I remember this guy who gave me a tipey dollar. I had signed up, linked my bank account, and forgot about it. I tell Braden to sign up, and honk his horn when he’s done. He did, so I sent him 40 bucks just for giving me a hand. Sometimes, you need to help a stranger out. This young man came through for me. Because of him, I was able to get home and take some medicine. Because of Tipey, I was able to send him a blessing.”

This is yet another instance in which Tipey has come in handy. You never really know what’s going to happen in life, so sometimes it’s good just to play it safe. Tipey is available on Google Play, and the App Store. It’s also available on the web at tipey.tips

The 4 Syndicate: The4

_MG_0509What does it take to create the world’s most powerful, innovative, and versatile software engineering company? Hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, and tears. The 4 Syndicate’s founders have been working tirelessly for years to achieve this. Gary Mathis and Keaton Johnson sum up these words almost effortlessly, devoting precious time and resources to bring you the best the world has to offer. The 4 Syndicate is a software engineering company located in Dallas, TX. The founders, (Keaton Johnson and Gary Mathis), are the creative minds behind the powerful applications they create. It is with these two that we learn what it really means to start at the bottom.

“We grew up in a small town, with little opportunity.” Says Keaton about the history of him and Gary. Keaton is referring to where The 4 Syndicate truly originated.  Gary and Keaton were nothing but your average children. The difference? They decided they wanted to pave the way for their futures.

“We were fascinated by computers.” Says Gary. “How they worked. The hardware and software behind it all. We essentially partnered before there was anything to partner to.”

This dynamic duo spent years honing in on their skills. Trial and error, failure after failure, these two learned and grew together. Growing up in Southern, less than middle class homes, with little opportunity on their table the team set forth on a path that differed from their peers. This is what created The 4 Syndicate.

“We wanted more for everybody.” Keaton says, “We saw everything in use, and then saw what was needed. We started out learning how to do this, and then ended up wanting to fix the problems.”

“Bottom line we wanted to give the world what it deserves.” Says Gary. “Versatile software, that’s easy to use, is powerful, and can update society.”

The team grew up and went separate paths of college and military. It was until 2013 that the pair came back together and began implementing their plans for the future of software. Then, they began their move into the Dallas market. This is where they met Jeff Cline, an entrepreneur by trade. Jeff had 20+ years of business experience, and was geared to create another successful company.

“These guys had ideas, and I had ideas.” Says Jeff. “They were on top of their game when I met them, so I couldn’t resist helping them with their vision. These two are extraordinary.”

The 4 Syndicate offers low cost, powerful, effective, and versatile software. The 4 Syndicate stands to truly take the market by a storm if it continues this path. These partners are the dream team of software engineering, and are truly prepared to help create a better future.

The 4 Syndicate: Gary and Keaton

_MG_0509The story of The 4 Syndicate goes back in time over 20 years. A small town, few opportunities, and a dynamic duo. Years ago in Silsbee, TX located 20 minutes east of Beaumont, there were very few opportunities. In reality, still to this day Silsbee’s market is primarily retail, woodwork, fabrication, and welding. The education is lacking, the opportunity within that system is low, and the educators pump out fresh batches of students that are focused on the generic job positions. It was within this beautiful small town with little opportunity in advancement that the founders of The 4 Syndicate were born.

Gary and Keaton have known each other from that town. Over years of living there, the team at the head of the world’s most powerful applications, spent years doing what normal kids do. Camping, hunting, fishing, etc… These 2 had each other’s backs for many years. Over time they began to think of their future. What would be in store for them? Although both had different ideas of a few goals, they both had the same overall goal. Create a business that will take the lead in a market. It was over time that the decision was made to create this business in the world of Information Technology. Gary and Keaton began honing their skills on what they needed to know in order to compete with the top companies. Over time, both began creating and designing powerful ideas and learning the science/art of software engineering. This was truly the start of a new world.

The pair separated briefly during Keaton’s time spent in the Army, and his work at the Sheriff’s Department. Gary went to college and began building the business with Keaton over the phone. Coming at the end of 2013, the dynamic duo once again paired and began their plans. Starting with building the Social Network BlabAway, designing a new framework, and looking for potential ventures. Marketing, accounting, and investing time and money became priorities. The team moved their location to Dallas, TX where they met Jeff Cline, a wealthy investor with 20+ years of experience in operating several companies. With the help of Jeff The 4 Syndicate was born. These 3 went to work to start pushing out applications such as Tipey, Incline.Media, and designing sites such as KandeeJohnson.com

These applications are on the web, google play, and the app store. The 4 Syndicate is coming into the market, and is coming in loud. With several businesses reaching out to them after only a few months with applications on the market, it’s no wonder The 4 Syndicate can say it is the best in software engineering.

Meet The Team: Gary Mathis

12936725_1671930443048223_238970536484059574_n

Gary Mathis

Gary Mathis is the President of The 4 Syndicate LLC. He is the mind that made it happen, the leader with a vision to create the best most versatile software company. He is the lead developer of The 4 Syndicate’s products, with State and National awards as well at 10+ years of software engineering under his belt. There’s nothing he hasn’t, or can’t build when it comes to software. His vision for the future is to see the world operating the way it should be.

“I want a small footprint in every market.” Says Gary. “I want to improve upon the technology we have. Which means advances in the medical field, military, government, improving the internet as a whole, and reimagining the customs of our society. Applications such as Tipey, for example, could change the way our society handles cashflow as a whole. Tipey also reimagines the custom of tipping, bringing something common we do and redesigning it with software to improve it’s functionality. BlabAway changes the way we connect with the world. Bringing the best social networking features into one site. We’re constantly changing the face of the most widely used applications, and providing ones you didn’t know you needed.”

Gary has set his goals, and he won’t allow any product on the market that isn’t up to his standards.

“I want the best of the best.” Says Gary, “I won’t accept pushing out anything that isn’t ready in my eyes. When our customers use our software, they should be 100% satisfied by the results.”

Watch out for The 4 Syndicate, coming into your market soon.

Customer Stories: Nicole’s Tip

Breakfast-FoodRecently, I had the chance to speak with one of the Tipey users about an experience they already had. This story is from a man we’ll call Mark. Mark contacted me personally about the story to make sure it was shared appropriately. This was Mark’s experience using Tipey to tip his waitress.

“So, I was in a restaurant with a friend the other day. It’s a breakfast joint, but I don’t want to say where because I don’t want anyone to get in trouble. Anyway, this was one of those tip share restaurants. No big deal, tip sharing is pretty common so I knew what to expect. My server wasn’t going to be all that good, my food would be adequate at best. I wasn’t really worried about it. I walked in, and waited fifteen minutes to be seated. I could see they were extremely busy, and almost every chair had a butt in it. I waited, was seated, and was viewing the menu. This cute little blonde waitress named Nicole came over to take our drink orders. Now, at first sight Nicole was quite charming. She had a beautiful smile with amazing teeth, her hair in a bun, and her uniform…. well that’s when I realized it. This young girl, probably 20 going to college, was covered in enough food waste to make another meal. I could see by her tired expression, her uniform, and her bun that was coming undone that she had been through one rough shift. Turns out, she was on her thirteenth hour and we were her last customers after her other tables left.

We ordered our drinks, and waited another ten or so minutes. I didn’t mind though because I watched Nicole running around taking orders, refilling drinks, bussing tables, etc. I could see the rest of the waitstaff taking there time, but Nicole was busting her butt for them. After awhile I ordered my food, and she brought it with that same smile. Then, five minutes into eating, I saw her manager yelling at her for forgetting to roll the silverware before her shift ended. She had been so caught up helping the customers that she forgot to do a task that could’ve been assigned to any one of those servers gossiping by the kitchen. I knew her shift was going to end soon, so I finished my meal and paid without leaving a tip. This constituted a slight look from the cashier, who was obviously going to miss out on her cut.

Nicole came out the doors some thirty minutes later. I was waiting for her outside. She didn’t notice me as she went straight for her car, got in, and started crying. I came to her, we talked, and I assured her she had provided the best service I’ve seen in years. Then, I told her about Tipey. I told her that I hated the idea of tip share for people like her, who really try to do a great job. I had her download the app, set up an account, favorited her, and then tipped her thirty dollars for excellent service. Her face lit up, and we became somewhat of friends that day I suppose. So, now every time I go there, I’ll be requesting Nicole. And, I’ll only tip her through Tipey because only she deserves my money.”

-Mark

What a fantastic story Mark! It’s times like these that Tipey really comes in and saves the day. Though this is only one example, it really sums up the Tipey experience. Tipey, A new way to Tip. Download on the App Store or Google Play.

He joined the company in 2013, and has since moved location to location until finding The 4 Syndicate’s place in the Dallas market. He is a veteran of the United States Army, and a Sheriff’s Department Jailer. He is no stranger to dedication, and service to the people. Keaton has known and worked alonside Gary for over 15 years, creating a dynamic duo entering the market.

“We want to be innovative,” says Keaton, “We look at all the things out there. All these outdated softwares, all these problems, all these people stuck using what’s already there. So, we’re like let’s fix that. Let’s update the world. Let’s create the best at the lowest cost. Let’s give the world the software it deserves. There is no true market for us.
